Stakeholder and Conflict Analysis · Works offline
Altus ASCA helps international organisations and NGOs build a shared stakeholder map: communities, authorities, organisations and the relationships between them. Follow how that picture changes over time, and handle what you know about people with care.
Know who holds influence over access, who speaks for whom, and who to approach first.
See who does what, where and when, and keep an up-to-date overview of local dynamics.
Run context-analysis exercises on a ready-made demo stakeholder map.
Stakeholder maps
Record each actor once, with a profile holding their role, languages, affiliations, contact channels, meetings and notes. Then draw the relationships between them, whether cooperative, tense or broken.
Actors, organisations and boats or vessels with GPS tracks, shown four ways: relationship map, data table, world map and mind map. Start from a template, and merge duplicate cards into one.
Tools for the field
NEW
Who does What, Where and When, taken straight from the map and kept in step with it.
NEW
Place every actor by power and interest to decide who to inform, consult or involve.
NEW
Mark a relationship that needs care, so nobody approaches one actor through the wrong person.
See who is most connected, who bridges groups, and which connections hold the whole picture together.
See one actor's world, and find the shortest route from your team to the person you need to reach.
One snapshot per period, played in sequence, a timeline of events, and a report of what changed.
Do no harm
ASCA keeps personal data on your own computer and gives you the tools to handle it responsibly.
Purpose, legal basis, and review and delete-by dates, kept with the data itself.
Export everything held about one person, or erase them everywhere.
Pick a level from UN or EU standards, from UN CONFIDENTIAL to EU RESTRICTED and above, shown as banners and watermarks.
Keep ASCA's own connections to the office network, or work fully offline.
Export a map for Altus Landscape with the extra details removed entirely.
Open a map as a viewer to present it without anyone changing it by mistake.
Share a map live on the office network with no server. Use encrypted chat, comments and tasks, per-card locks, approval of changes and a record of who did what. Designed for small teams.
Produce PDFs, timeline films, Excel files and contact lists as CSV, with spelling check in 13 languages.
The English and Swedish interfaces use the field's own words: stakeholder map, actor, focal point, key actors.
Included demo
ASCA ships with a fictional stakeholder map of a flood response on the Lower Atrato, Colombia, covering April to September 2025. Every person and organisation in it is invented.
Get Altus ASCA
Each licence is tied to one computer. Send us its Windows ID with the form, and we'll email your licence together with the download link.
Find this computer's ID
On the computer where you will use Altus ASCA, press Windows+R, type cmd and press Enter. Paste this command and press Enter:
reg query "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography" /v MachineGuid /reg:64Copy the long ID it shows (36 characters) into the form. The command only reads that one value and changes nothing.
Send the form
We turn the ID into the computer code your licence is tied to. Only that code is kept.
We email your licence and the download link
Install the program, then paste the licence into its activation screen and click Activate. No administrator rights are needed. If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”, choose More info, then Run anyway.
Can't run the command? Leave the Computer ID empty and we'll send the setup first – the program then shows you its computer code. Your request is recorded with your IP address to prevent misuse.
We work with organisations to fit ASCA to their own data-protection policies and training needs.
